DNA Match Leads to First Degree Murder Indictment in 2019 Homicide
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County grand jury formally indicted Gary Brumfield, 30, for First Degree Murder (with a Weapon) for a 2019 homicide.
On July 13, 2019, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office discovered the body of Vera Jones, 58, in a home in the 4000 block of West Jackson Street. The medical examiner determined the woman died from multiple skull fractures with contributing factors of multiple stab wounds.
