The Office of the State Attorney is offering a special, limited Pretrial diversion program for cases where the defendant was arrested prior to July 1, 2023 for Carrying Concealed Firearm (and no other offenses) . The State Attorney’s Office will be screening cases and notifying defendants and/or defense attorneys on cases that qualify. This limited diversion program will be offered January 12, 2024 and February 16, 2024.
