The mission of the Public Information Office is to provide accurate information to citizens and the media in a timely manner. Dedicated to promoting and supporting various functions within the SAO, the office also provides information on services and initiatives.

NINTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT, FL (August 15, 2023) — State Attorney Andrew Bain announces two new bureau chiefs within the new administration for the Office of the State Attorney. Mark Wixtrom and Lisa Gong-Guerrero have been selected for Felony Bureau Chief and County Court Bureau Chief, respectively.
With 28 years of legal experience, Mark Wixtrom brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. He has a proven track record of dedication to upholding the law and seeking justice on behalf of the citizens of Florida. Mark has experience on the Orange County criminal bench, in private practice, and with the Public Defender’s Office. In two different tenures with the Ninth Judicial State Attorney’s Office Mark has held several leadership positions and has experience in almost every part of the office, including county court, circuit court, central intake, sex crimes and child abuse, and homicide.
