Disorderly Intoxication
Program Description
This diversion program is for defendants facing Disorderly Intoxication charges. The State will perform a risk/assessment analysis to determine which diversion program, if any, is appropriate for a defendant.
Program Requirements
Most non-violent misdemeanors with no aggravating factors and no requirement to pay restitution are eligible for the Adult Civil Citation Program (ACCP).
Diversion-eligible defendants approved for this program will be required to:
- Pay $175 program fee
- Waive speedy trial
- Pay educational course fee, if applicable
- Complete alcohol and substance abuse course
- Complete 10 community service hours

ACCP Completion Or Failure To Complete
If an ACCP participant successfully completes the program the State will not file charges and will close the case.
If an ACCP participant fails to complete all ACCP requirements within the given time frame their case will be forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
