ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – On Monday, State Attorney Andrew Bain sent an email to staff regarding the future of the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. We have received several questions regarding the email and are providing the following statement in response to those questions.
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – On Wednesday, an Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Jose Otero-Fontanez, 49, for First Degree Murder with a Firearm and two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer after fatally shooting his wife in their Osceola County home and firing shots in the ensuing standoff.
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – On Wednesday, an Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Kevin Duda, 55, for First Degree Murder with a Firearm for fatally shooting a man in Kissimmee.
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – On Wednesday, an Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Kelsey Glover, 35, for First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for the murder of her daughter and an attack on a woman.
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – On Wednesday, an Osceola County grand jury formally indicted Larry Rhodes, 25, for First Degree Murder, two counts of Aggravated Child Abuse and four counts of Child Abuse for the murder of his son and the felony abuse of his other children.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – On Monday, Orange County Circuit Court Judge Michael Kraynick sentenced Sarah Boone, 47, to life in the Florida Department of Corrections for murdering her boyfriend, Jorge Torres.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County jury found Michael Seawright, 40, guilty of Attempted Second Degree Murder (with a Weapon), Robbery with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon after he shot and robbed another man at a homeless camp.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County jury found Shaun Marvin Engram Jr., 29, guilty of Second Degree Murder (with a Firearm) for fatally shooting a man in downtown Orlando in 2021.
